Information on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

  1. Waste electrical and electronic equipment (hereinafter: “WEEE”) must not be disposed of together with other waste.
  2. Owners of WEEE from households are obliged to deliver it to an authorized WEEE collection point or an entity authorized to collect WEEE.
  3. The Seller is obliged to accept, free of charge, WEEE from households at the point of sale, provided that the WEEE is of the same type and serves the same function as the equipment being sold. WEEE can be returned to the following address: Miltech, Bogucin 30G, 87-811 Fabianki, Poland.
  4. The Seller, when delivering equipment intended for household use, is obliged to collect WEEE from households free of charge at the delivery location, provided that the WEEE is of the same type and serves the same function as the delivered equipment. To arrange for collection, the User may contact the Seller, for example, via email at biuro@miltech.pl or by phone at +48 54 237 16 91.
  5. Sellers operating retail units with a sales area of at least 400 m² dedicated to household equipment are obliged to accept, free of charge, WEEE from households at the retail unit or its immediate vicinity, provided that no external dimension of the WEEE exceeds 25 cm, and without requiring the purchase of new equipment. WEEE can be returned to the following address: Miltech, Bogucin 30G, 87-811 Fabianki, Poland.
  6. Products manufactured by Miltech are made of plastics and contain LED modules. Users are legally obliged to deliver used products to authorized collection points, which will carry out proper disposal or recycling in accordance with applicable regulations.
  7. The main purpose of the European regulations and the Act of 29 July 2005 on waste electrical and electronic equipment is to reduce the amount of waste generated from equipment, ensure adequate collection, recovery, and recycling of WEEE, and raise public awareness of its environmental impact throughout the equipment’s lifecycle. Households play a key role in contributing to the reuse and recovery, including recycling, of WEEE. According to Article 35 of the Act, users of household equipment are obliged to deliver WEEE to authorized collection points. It is important to ensure that electrical and electronic equipment is disposed of only at authorized collection points.
